Insanely good CHOC MINT bliss balls you NEED to try!
Out of all the recipes I have created so far, this one is by far my favourite. All of the deliciousness plus all of the health benefits...what more could you ask for?!?
1 cup raw almonds
1 cup raw walnuts
14 pitted dates
3 tbs of protein powder of choice (I used a chocolate flavoured pea protein)
2 tbs cocoa powder
1 tbs maca powder
1 tsp peppermint oil (less if you don't like a strong mint hit)
2 tbs rice malt syrup
2 tbs melted coconut oil
Shredded coconut to coat
In a food processor process almonds, walnuts & dates into a fine mixture.
Stir protein powder, cocoa powder & maca powder through nut & date mixture.
In a separate bowl, stir together peppermint oil, rice malt syrup & melted coconut oil.
Combine the two mixes together and roll into tbs size balls.
Roll the balls through the shredded coconut to coat & try not to eat them all at once!
Store in the fridge & consume within 7 days.
